The Greco Di Tufo Devon from the Antonio Caggiano cellars comes from hilly terrain at 500 meters above sea level, with south-west exposure and characterized by a clayey-limestone soil.
The harvest for the production of this Greco Di Tufo Devon takes place in the third ten days of October, with manual harvesting and selection of the grapes which, once they have reached complete ripeness, are pressed and the must is fermented in steel tanks at low temperatures. Followed by bottle refinement for 3 months.
Organoleptic characteristics
Caggiano's Greco Di Tufo Devon has a bright yellow color with aromas of exotic fruit, peach blossoms and almond blossoms. The taste is full, harmonious and very persistent.
Pairings and service
This wine pairs perfectly with fish-based dishes such as shellfish, lobsters, fish soups and seafood, but if aged it is particularly suitable for roasts, wild boar meat and dishes based on porcini mushrooms. It is advisable to serve it at a temperature of 10-12 degrees.
